Another great article Mike! I don't know how you do it. I feel like your work spans the human conditon and I learn something more about it every time you put out a post.
Thanks Bronce. Retirement gives you lots of free time and I still have an insatiable appetite for knowledge. Maybe I need psychological help.🤣
I have written a book. It was a self-help book. I wrote more to prove to myself I could write one and at the time I had gone through a few mental issues myself.
The only people who bought it were family and friends.
When I visit them my book can be found in their bathrooms next to the toilet. 🙈😢
Ahh, well if it helps Mike, I go to see one of my own kind for that psychological help you hit on. He says I have to keep going. Mind you, he's never published a book in his life so what does he know! 😉
In essence, I certainly can relate to the insatiable appetite for knowledge and wanting to prove to oneself that one can write a self-help book. I've proven I can write one, like you, I'm just not sure how many are going to read it. MIght I ask what yours is about?
I get the sense that Substack is going to "cure me" of my obsession one way or another.

Are you in the process of writing a book Mike?

Thank you for sharing your insights.
I hope I was able to highlight the challenges faced by people with dyslexia!
You are in the best position to tell me.
Yes. I could relate to many of the challenges you highlighted. I’ve known I was dyslexic 6 months into my kindergarten experience. 🙂 and 😞
Thank you for reading.
I am probably not the best person to write about dyslexia.
The article was more to give the general reader a better understanding of what it is like to have dyslexia!
